About TCIA's CTSP Program
The purpose of TCIA's Certified Treecare Safety Program is:
To improve worker safety by empowering and encouraging employers and employees to develop and nurture a culture of safety within their organizations.
Our shared goal with you is to eliminate work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses as well as their associated costs.
What is CTSP?
Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) is a certification program offered through the Tree Care Industry Association designed to improve worker safety.
CTSP does this by empowering and encouraging employers and employees to develop and nurture a culture of safety within their organization.
The ideal CTSP should share attributes similar to a coach; incorporating professional field experience as well as good communication skills to instruct and demonstrate behavior that leads to a safer environment.
