Serpico gives back to the communities that we serve.
After more than 25 years of growing our business, our families and our relationships with our customers in the Bay Area, Serpico Landscaping is grateful for all the good things of which we are part. So it’s only natural that we love giving back to the communities we serve.
As you’d expect, some of our areas of interest include preserving and improving the environment, helping children and families thrive, partnering with businesses and institutions in the area, and rewarding the efforts of our wonderful employees.
- Leadership in water use issues – Not only do Serpico employees work closely with our state’s water usage bureaus and organizations, our leadership team holds seats on two of the major municipal water agency landscape advisory committees.
- Rewarding our employees while partnering with our local public servants — A recent Christmas brought a unique opportunity for Serpico to honor our employees, support local police, sheriff and fire departments, and help needy kids. Our management pledged that we would donate one bicycle for every written complement our Teams received. We’re happy to report 61 shiny new bicycles were delivered to area kids.
- Supporting local non-profits – Over the years, Serpico has given support and sponsorship to a variety of area nonprofits. One of the worthy causes we sponsor is the Almeda County Food Bank, which was named Food Bank of the Year by the Feeding America organization. Thanks to their efforts, one in five of our neighbors, with little or no means to buy groceries, received much needed food. George Mark Children’s House is another of Serpico’s longtime favorite non-profits. They are the only hospice house for children in the Bay Area. Check out their amazing story on their website at Georgemark.org.
Do you or your business have a special cause or a suggestion on how we can help? If so, Serpico would like to hear from you.
